To answer @aliwibble's question about incidents why I hate Linington ...
When Lord Bowyer was in charge we played Posh on a Tuesday evening, the oppo being managed by the shy and retiring Steve Evans.
Evans had been in the ear of the officials all evening and eventually Linington gave Posh a penalty for a non-challenge outside the box.
Bowyer wasn't a happy bunny compaining in his post-match interview thay the "big geezer" had been influencing the officials.
Whenever we've had that ref since he has always managed to live down to expectations.4 -
