For backing and funding bringing in a top manager, who kept us us in league one, got us promoted, and who will keep us up this season (cue a defeat for us on Saturday) 😒

Despite up and down results, ( who can forget Southampton at home)I tried to get out of the ground at half time, and wasn’t allowed to!

We’ve had the best January transfer window, I think I can ever remember, in my 40 years of following this club, we are on the up, and will become an attractive prospect for strengthening in the summer, we’ve just got to show patience, and not be fickle.

Another big window, coming up in the summer, but how refreshing to have a plan, a plan that’s working, wish I could change my user name!

Oh, Imagine him pacing up and down the till area tutting, complaining about the injustice of someone with seven items at the express till! or giving 3 fist pumps when he gets his free coffee.
  • Definitely a great achievement to be where we are at the moment.

Also agree that we had a great Jan window….which in my opinion saved our season.

I think we’ve learnt a lot over the past two windows that will hopefully hold us in good stead when it comes to our transfer strategy this summer.

Very interesting that neither Apter or Olaofe started in league one yesterday.

And last time out, with what we know now, money wasn’t spent that should have been spent on Ivan Toney, that was spent on cars and penthouse flats, bordering on criminality, that fella should be doing time.

Yes, they do deserve a lot of credit - i had a little rant on the season ticket thread where i think they've got it wrong moving long standing supporters out of the central blocks in the west strand but that was probably OTT but we shall see how that pans out - other than that, and certainly considering the recent past, it seems we are in good hands.

I’ve been fortunate to have met Josh Freedman, several times at Charlton, and if you do see him, do approach him, he is a really nice, and humble bloke, we all breathe the same air after all.

This is why he’s ordered everyone around the Director’s Box moved! Lol
