DR Congo could have won that so much more easily.

I know it will sound silly but they missed having an option like Dixon off the bench there

Gutted for TC, Amari and Karoy, but Congo were the better side.

Ah yes, the guy who struggle to get game time at Crawley

Such a shame for Jamaica... I expected Congo to win, but Jamaica put in such a great display to almost reach pens
As said earlier in the thread, they had to do it with a Interim Manager too, after that dozy twat with the brolly abandoned them

Oh my god. After watching that Mason-Clark sub performance, the EFL have decided to ban Coventry City from getting promoted

    TC justified his starting position.

Just the chaos factor for 5 minutes, everything was very predictable

That's very classy from Blake to congratulate DRC as the first thing in his interview. And how much strapping does he have on his hands?

They managed to absolutely fudge it unfortunately.

3 strongest teams in the region automatically qualified, easy group, and they can't finish it off, then they get drawn to New Caledonia (essentially a village on a desert island) and can only scrape past them, then can't compete with a diligent but ultimately pretty crap Congo.

No excuse for the way they played today too, everything was overhit, but they played on this pitch 3 days ago so should have been using that extra experience to turn it into a bit of a home advantage

Or Karoy. At least he can run which is more than most were managing by the end, even those that came off the bench looked knackered

So does our involvement at the World Cup lie solely with Lyndon Dykes.......whose contract probably runs until 30th June so might not be our player for the duration of Scotland's involvement in the tournament.

    Epic.

Feel desperately disappointed for TC, Karoy and Amari’i. But they can be proud of their individual contributions. Great to see TC given the #11 shirt and see him justify it.

Thought TC looked far more useful than Mason Clark. Was amazed to see him starting over him but does make you wonder did Coventry have some sort of agreement that EMC only played a certain number of minutes.

I doubt it. This wasn't some meaningless friendly, but a life changing match.

TC has been playing for Jamaica longer too, Mason Clark only started playing for Jamaica in these playoffs

Jamaica looked far worse after TC went off. He was the only player that looked capable of hurting DRC.
Strange decision, as he didn't look tired but many others did.

He was also helping out a poor fullback who was on a booking. I can't believe the coach didn't swap the LB for Bell, then you would have had two players with some form of relationship on that side too

Jamaica's approach seemed to get the ball to Bailey, so Campbell's pace really wasn't taken advantage of - TC's final ball still needs a lot of work, but their biggest threat came when Campbell put the ball in for Bailey, and then they subbed him off.

Jamaica were pretty poor to be fair and TC was his usual self . Disappointed for them but hopefully that means the players will be fresh for next season .

TC was Jamaica’s best player before he was subbed off considering they had a 30M winger on the other wing, TC looked far more dangerous and he was up against arguably the best 1v1 fullback in the prem
