MANNION: 5.5 Hard to mark, as little to do. A few good, fast throw outs to TC. Not at fault for the goals.
BELL: 6 His pace got us out of a hole a few times, but not at his best with the ball.
JONES: 6.5 Maybe not at his best, but still the pick of the defence
RAMSAY: 5 Worst I've seen him play. Looks short of confidence.
CHAMBERS: 5.5 OK, but nothing special. We're being hamstrung by the minutes Liverpool are allowing him to play.
DOCHERTY: 7 Was everywhere. Carried our midfield single handedly.
J R-C: 6 And that's generous, because of the goal. Some of those playing walking Football at half time were as fast. And those asking why he was taken off? Because that's the limit of his stamina. Good footballer's brain in a bad footballer's body...
CAREY; 5 Too desperate for a goal, shooting from distance when there's a sea of defenders in the way. Not helped by working in a painfully slow midfield.
CAMPBELL: 5 Infuruating. All the talent, but no anticipation. Looked dangerous in the first half. Disinterested in the 2nd.
FEVRIER: 7.5 PotM. Aggressive with the ball, on both flanks. A number of decent crosses that no-one got on the end of. Better corners than Carey. Also liked him geeing the crowd up.
DYKES: 6 Plowing a lone furrow, getting battered from pillar to post. Slipped a couple of times in dangerous positions.
Subs: GODDEN: 6 Looked quite sharp, feeding off scraps.
FULLAH: 4 A boy playing a man's game. At fault for the winner. Lost the ball too often, and all his crosses seemed to be meant for the Jolly Green Giant.
LEABURN; 5.5 Hardly noticed him
BERRY: 5.5 Too late to effect the game.

MANNION: 7 left exposed so many times but not to blame for bad marking for both goals
BELL:6 was shaky but still in credit
JONES:6 making some poor decisions recently and I assume he is playing with injuries as he has been overworked all season. Getting the card 1st half for the pull back against meant he couldn't dive in 2nd half.
RAMSAY:6 The trio of CB's were all shaky and Kayne's passing was problematic all game but they are all in credit over the season they just need chances to be taken up front.
CHAMBERS:5.5 hard to evaluate as he has been told to play an Inverse full back role in this game. Lacks strength but is decent on the ball though he did get caught
DOCHERTY: 6.5 a sweet volley early doors which just missed and his usual work rate.
J R-C:7 +1 for the goal. Good 1st half where he achieved some good passes to TC etc but when Preston woke up we were out passed and he couldn't affect the match.
CAREY; 5.5 I'm still grateful for his 8 goals but he is struggling to impact the game and his form is dipping at an alarming rate.
CAMPBELL:6.5 had a really decent 1st half with a couple of good crosses and a shot on target. His languid style will never appeal to Ronnie Moore and others !
FEVRIER:7 both 1st half and 2nd he showed skill on the ball and the Jones chance was caused by his good feet.
DYKES: 6 100% player but a straight swap for Leaburn could've been a better idea.
Subs: GODDEN:6.unlike the last two games the ball didn't fall for him.
FULLAH:5. welcome to the reality of pro football but we shouldn't be too harsh on the lad as when he lost the ball just outside the opposition's half it shouldn't result in a goal down the other end !!!
LEABURN; 5.couldn't impact the game.
BERRY:5 I would have preferred Knibbs to play a cameo but in his wisdom Nathan left Harvey out the squad.
Referee: 7 He had a good game and the defeat wasn't down to the ref.

MANNION: 5.5 Awful kicking
BELL: 4 Had a mare today - couldn’t make a simple pass
JONES: 5 Never plays as well against a quick striker, partly to blame for their first and missed a great headed chance
RAMSAY: 6.5 Overplayed too many times today
CHAMBERS: 7.5 Done ok with some lovely passes
DOCHERTY: 8 Put in a great shift today
J R-C: 7. Gets forward into some great space but lack of pace lets him down defensively
CAREY; 1 His game has gone to pieces - terrible corners and game passed him by, let their man run past him for their second - should have taken a booking for the team
CAMPBELL: 7 Great first half but faded second
FEVRIER: 7.5 Very good first 20 minutes and was ok all game
DYKES: 2 His game is all about winning headers and he didn’t today. Had a couple of half chances and fluffed them
Subs: GODDEN: 6 some smart runs that Dykes got in the way of
FULLAH: 5 couple of good bits but lost the ball in dangerous places a couple of times with one of them leading to their second
LEABURN; 7 Madeva difference by winning headers
BERRY:; 3 too slow

We not being told how many mins he has to play it’s that NJ won’t take Campbell off so chambers is the scrapgoatSteveACS said:MANNION: 5.5 Hard to mark, as little to do. A few good, fast throw outs to TC. Not at fault for the goals.
