There is an increasing number of Lifers who are finding excuses for their wrong predictions. And, yes, me too. @cafcwill is convinced that if the predicted score could count either way, the Premier League title would not be far away. Wouldn't it be nice if we could count the 2-1 loss to Preston as a 2-1 win? For me, I usually choose five games, then eliminate two. I always eliminate the wrong two - I knew QPR would draw 0-0 last week against Bristol City. Others believe that goals scored after 90+2 should not count if they ruin your prediction. Meanwhile, there are optimists like @killerandflash, who believe they have cracked it and have a 13.65% chance of winning the Prediction League next season. We'll see. However you choose your games, there are plenty to choose from this week. Will Spurs ever win a game again? What will happen when Man City play Arsenal? Does anyone have any idea what will happen when Dunfermline Athletic play Falkirk in the semi-final of the Scottish Cup? Can anyone put dots on a UK map where Dunfermline and Falkirk play? We are certain to win at Sheffield Wednesday, aren't we? If none of that helps you, you are not alone.
