I was looking forward to this, going down for the weekend. If we end up needing something from the game it's going to be hell!

Same here. I was looking forward to a party atmosphere, instead it might be like a morgue  :D

Just under 2500 for a 12:30pm trip to Swansea on the last league game of the season - Restricted sale - 12 phases

I think realistically for Sheff Wed we could've got up to 4k if needed (the whole end, upper and lower)

12 phases for any game is ridiculous. Bizarre how slowly they're creeping down the points levels 620, 600, 590, 570, 550.

Yet the top number of 620 seems really low, considering 44 away games (plus cup games) have been available to get just 160 points.

I think this is something we have to trust the staff on. They'll know better than we do how many people fall into each category. 16 away games in two seasons isn't a lot, but I doubt there's much difference between season ticket holders that attended 16 away games over the last two seasons and those of us that have gone to every single match.

While the drop from 600 (14 aways) and 590 (13 aways) doesn't seem like much, for all we know there could be 500+ people that have exactly 590 points.

As a filthy casual I can only jump in at Phase 7. Will be interesting to see how many are left by then.

Looks like the front four rows of the top tier of the away end are allocated as the family area

Given your user name, did you only need one hand to count that far?  😉

Got mine through a mate. Was hoping it would be a relaxing day out enjoying a few beers but might be more riding on the game than expected now.

If we win tomorrow I doubt we’ll sell many for this one.

Ticket & train sorted. Wonder if those lovely Swansea police will bus us back to the station platform again and force us all on the first train out…whether we’re booked on it or not! 😬

Just walk out of the away fan compound and cross over the dual carriage way and you can get the Number 4 bus back into the city centre on Neath Road. If the police say anything just tell them you are staying down here or you drove and the car is in the city centre. You can also walk back to the train station, which takes about 20 mins, if you walk quickly. Bristol City fans were marched back to the Station a few weeks ago and there was some trouble. We played Oxford last season in our last match and it was a great day celebrating Cardiff getting relegated and Oxford staying up. The weather was also gorgeous.

The away end is opposite the family stand so we have to offer some family tickets because the match day prices have to be mirrored.

Swansea vs Charlton is a complete non aggro match, so it would be bizarre for the police to get all arsy over it.

Unless a repeat of 2009 occurs of course
  • Blimey, all of a sudden I was phase two.  Been phase 6-7 all season!
Hoping to go but can't commit yet.

Absolutely it will be fun in the sun if Charlton are completely safe like Oxford were last year. They brought down 2,616. And filled the away end. There are some bank holiday concerts on the weekend we play you. Happy Hardcore with some Scooter and there is JLS on the Friday before. Not my cup of tea, but somebody will like them.

2 tickets for each person who has sufficient points.

Thanks for the advice on the bus/walk back to the station @Jackharris.  Having seen your post about Scooter playing on the beach that day…I’m going to ask the police to force me onto the first train leaving…wherever it’s going!!!   🙉🤷🏻‍♂️😂😂😂
