No mention of Coventry on the OS, so presumably left out. Doesn’t feel like he’s rated as highly by NJ as he was a year ago. Overall I think Docherty’s had the better season, which I don’t think many would have predicted last summer.

If I'd only taken up crown bowls, might have saved from all this...

Burke was the scorer in one of the last games we scored 2 goals in, which was against Wednesday at home. Clearly looking for that creative spark from him again today. If he's fit and he can stay fit for the game then he's a very good replacement for Ramsay, let's hope for his sake and ours he doesn't break down today. Sichenje is there to come on for him later but hopefully as a 60/70th minute precautionary sub. Lots of attacking players to come on as well if we're chasing a win which is good to see. Fingers crossed this doesn't have to be a nightmare today
Hmm....error prone in many games, 2 goals at Millwall directly down to him.

So, it looks like early KO results are trying to help us, now we need to help ourselves...

He was very poor in that game but I'm not sure you could even say he's played 'many' games let alone been error-prone in them. He was very good at the start of the season when he played, was less good after that though hardly a disaster before having some poor games in there. His lack of pace gets exposed at times but he's very effective when the team is front-footed and aggressive, which hopefully we will be today

How many minutes do we think Burke lasts before breaking down this time - 10?
    I'm gonna go 20.

    Seconds.

Great to see Godden starting. Not sure how fit Reece Burke is.

I'll get a view from the missus.

Think Oxford can get 53 points if they win their last 3.

Come on Matty. Would be poetic if he scored the goals to finally sort our status in this league for another season.

near as, just not mathematically. On balance of probability of the remaining results of the games that are  left , we are safe if we win.

    No, not mathematically.

But even we would be unlucky to go down should we win.

All but. Oxford would need to win 3 games in a row and we not get any points at all for them to overtake us.

Just seen that 1954 was the last time we did the double over Sheff Wed...

    So onto us.

i just wonder.... what with Leicester and Oxford both losing - will NJ be a bit less gung ho (if he ever was) and think a point is not the disaster it may have been?

Or is the approach all about - this is it. Win and we are safe.
