(I'm not entirely sure why, pretty standard booking for Ayling).
Then the managers start kicking off!

Milanda really impressed me against us, and he's been very good so far today. Absolutely rapid for a CB/CM. Can't believe he spent three years in MLS!1
-
1-1. Shit goal.0
-
1-1...Boooo!!0
-
Game on!!!!
BTW, I think I'm rooting for Southampton here. Want to see Bree get promoted. Just put in a great ball.3 -
Not surprised, couldnt see Middlesbrough holding out the way Southampton have responded to the opener2
-
That goal comes from an impeccable Bree set piece delivery5
-
Although it will be funny if Southampton win, given that the EFL will be really forced into action0
-
Do any of these players know that winning and going up means the end of their time at the club do you think?
I reckon whilst they’re all pros and want to win, some will be aware that doing so means them moving on, moving house and schools for their kids etc.
Must be a bit of a conflict for them sometimes5 -
I think I am just about siding on Bree being better than Clarke...... he wasnt fit towards the end of his spell with us. Couldnt beat the first man with his set piece delivery.4

Perhaps Bree will just have to wait a couple of years and get promoted with us instead2 -
Completely agree. The pressure is off and I just want to see a few goals and some aggro.DamoNorthStand said:Really looking forward to the game tonight. Now the potential horror of spanners in the PL has passed by for another year, we can enjoy what should be a cracking game of football.1 -
Don’t know if it’s already been posted but a potential Hull v Southampton final will mean both assistant managers at Wembley are ex Charlton gaffers.4
-
Would love to know why the ref went over to both managers and got them to kick off with each other. Highlight of the game so far.0
-
But Hull manager nailed his. Both subs scoring.ken_shabby said:No idea how Doughty would do with us but his cameo last night was not a great advert. I thought @MillwallFan had it right. Hull deserved the win but the home manager badly damaged Millwall with the subs.
Interesting to see how home advantage plays out tonight.1 -
Not sure why the commentators said we needed half time for the players to calm down... That's the opposite of what we want!3
-
Hoping Boro get through1
-
Bellis supposedly said something discriminatory to Ayling which is why it all kicked off.
Southampton manager seems like a bit of a c***. The Hull manager would rip him to bits

A ‘derogatory’ comment from Harwood-Bellis to Ayling apparently, which the ref reported to the managers.Charlton and on said:Would love to know why the ref went over to both managers and got them to kick off with each other. Highlight of the game so far.1 -

Apparently Harwood Ellis said something of a derogatory nature to Ayling who clearly took exception.Charlton and on said:Would love to know why the ref went over to both managers and got them to kick off with each other. Highlight of the game so far.
The ref will be reporting it.0 -
Didn’t the commentator say “discriminatory” rather than “derogatory”?The Red Robin said:

Handball surely, that was more blatant than the Amari bell one for us0
