Did he play many games, can't recall seeing him?killerandflash said:
Hardie is a player I wanted us to sign last summer. Instead he got a fat contract with Hollywood, and his career has somewhat stalled.MarcusH26 said:0 -
6 league games, no goals at Wrexham then went on loan to Huddersfield where he got injured after a few games.EugenesAxe said:

He's at Bolton now with his old Plymouth manager Schumacher so i think it could be a smart move for him.2 -
He was playing in the PFA shop window team this summer with the likes of ben amos, conor wickham and tennai watson. Desperation signing for Blackburn.Chris_from_Sidcup said:
Morsy is 35 next month. He was released after 3 games in Kuwait, spent 6 months without a club, then signed a short term deal with Bristol city who then released him.follett said:Morsy is a decent signing from Blackburn but only making 2 others is bleak given how poor they were last season. Keeping hold of Cantwell and Ohashi is huge though. Surprised Cardiff have only signed 2 players although expect them to be fine next season
If we signed him, i think people would be pretty disappointed.

Maybe but Mowbray is a good manager and will have a plan for him. They won't be the pushover most think.last_line said:

Sheffield United have re-signed Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips on a season-long loan deal

Crazy that he hasn't played a league game for City since 2023, but still has another 2 years left on his 150k a week contract.stoneroses19 said:Sheffield United have re-signed Manchester City midfielder Kalvin Phillips on a season-long loan deal6 -
Sound like he has the same agent as Seth Johnson!!Chris_from_Sidcup said:

good work if you can get it1 -
Brilliant financially for him, but on the other hand, he's gone from being a first choice England player, to watching the World Cup on TV.1

Interesting piece on how Blackburn, Preston and Bolton have struggled in the window

Good article - Preston I still expect to do some late business given they seem to have been after Campbell, Stanley Mills etc but have had no luck with either yet - seems they have a little bit of money to spend and a willingness to do so.EpsomAddick said:Interesting piece on how Blackburn, Preston and Bolton have struggled in the window

Blackburn and Bolton I would have agree that they have more reason to worry given their business so far.1 -
QPR sign Dennis Cirkin0

Hull lol.1

Signing Cirkin and Lamptey is either going to be the best fullback pairing in the league or both are out for the season by October.EpsomAddick said:QPR sign Dennis Cirkin7 -
Hard to tell how much Preston have to spend and how much they're feeding journos to placate fansNorth Lower Neil said:

Crazy numbers for the Championship. Forest were previously after him, I'm amazed he agreed to go to a Championship club.Macronate said:West Ham about to spend £22M on Arne Engels from Celtic which would set a new Championship record for a transfer fee.0 -
Good read as it gives us a bit of perspective really - for all the "next two weeks are crucial" and "powder is dry" jokes and our spending this season relative to last etc, we're far from alone in finding it tricky to strengthen.EpsomAddick said:Interesting piece on how Blackburn, Preston and Bolton have struggled in the window

If you look at the entire league, especially the top of it it probably is the strongest/hardest its been for a while but down at the bottom we are amongst the bigger fish, if only by default.
There's maybe 10 sides all aiming for the top 8 spaces, perhaps another 6 more looking to maybe sneak in but otherwise survive comfortably, and then 6 more (including us) who are more focussed on trying to maximise results to avoid getting trapped in the relegation zone.
The haves and have-nots are growing further and further apart.1 -
