    If there really wasn’t anything to gain from watching the opposition training sessions then they wouldn’t do it. Clearly, it seems, it must be worth the effort and the risk. What needs to be addressed is that balance between risk and reward. If they are guilty then they should forfeit their place in the play off final.

    They would presumably get insight into tactics and injuries. Which I would expect their data analysts to have a good steer on after a 46 game season.

    I'm assuming this happened as they wanted to know whether Hayden Hackney was fit to play or not.

    SCR will be implemented from the 26/27 season reportedly. Apparently 20/24 clubs voted in favour.

    Will replace PSR and means clubs can spend 85% of revenue.

    So the 85% is only manager and player wages/transfers. So wouldn't include I assume other things outside that like facility and ground upgrades.

    Owners can also put in £33m over 3 seasons, but no more than £15m in one season.

    Has it been confirmed anywhere that the 'spy' worked for Southampton ?
    The fact that Southampton said they need longer to reply to the charge, does look suspicious.

    It only needs one social media post saying it's the Saints analyst and it's gospel and it spreads quicker than the clap in Ayia Napa.

    Hasn’t the spy already been matched to a staff member at the club, who was in the background of an Eckert pic from when he collected manager of the month. It stinks to high heaven and I’d love to see them kicked but sadly they won’t be. Big fine at worst I think. Hope Hull beat them.

    It’s was confirmed when Southampton didn’t say ‘we have no idea who that person is, and he doesn’t work or has worked for us’
