Want to see how your 2025-26 Prediction League season progressed (or regressed)? Possibly not.

Thanks for all the work you put in.

I organise a family competition on the footy (just completed our 14th season), its only 8 people and it takes up a load of time. I dread to think how long you dedicate to this each year.

Fortunately, I can write computer programs that does most of the work, so it looks more impressive than it is - at least, in terms of my effort!

Now the important question for next season...what's the alphabetical order going to be?

Ah, now this goes before the Prediction League Results Order Committee at our meeting in June. I’m Chairman of the Committee and make recommendations based on the contents of any brown envelopes that I receive. T to Z then A to S would suit me.

For a small fee, it could be S to Z then A to R

Great stuff as ever. I'd forgotten that I actually led the whole thing after 4 weeks.

Millwall games having a low successful score and result percentage is I suspect more people predicting with their heart, rather than their games being hard to predict.

Obviously your pre-season training got you off to a flyer. Your form was a bit like Charlton’s.

That was some last third of the season I had. Didn't relp that I usually forgot and had only the Sunday games to predict!

The glory days of winning the Prediction Cup must seem like a long while ago, @Bangkokaddick.
  • Time to sack a junior member of staff. @SaySomething won the Johnstones Paint Prediction Cup in 2016/17 not Supaclive!

I've often thought about getting involved in this but I'm worried there's too much lore for me to catch up on now. Would be like starting to watch Cheers at series 10

Everyone knows you’re champion of that one. I can reveal you would have won the league if you had reversed your scores.

Not at all. You’ll fit in straight away. After all, it’s the same jokes every season, which is probably like Cheers Series 10, I suppose. Also, avoid choosing the Millwall game.

I was really pleased to get a mention in the 'year on year' section.

However, it's the first year I've taken part.

Now I'm worried that there is a Fattmatt imposter!

    Looks like I’ve done a Celtic/Hearts job on @JustFloydRoad

Dodgy VAR decision swung it! However, you had a phenomenal end to the season. Believe me, it’ll be tough going next year.

Certainly does. I need a total reset during the summer and come back refreshed and on top form.
