    Early doors of course but 2 games, 2 goals, hope not a precursor for the season to come.

    The defence is sorted if we play 4 at the back. We have cover in every position, except maybe right back.
    The midfield is very weak and must now be the priority. Not sure I would want to see any of today's mids starting against Derby. Coventry at a real push maybe. We will need some real luck and money to get the quality we need.

    Of course it's early days in pre-season, but the second half was much better in attack, TC, Carey, Redmond, Miles a definite upgrade on Tanto, Knibbs, Apter, Kelman.

    The first half defence looked more secure, but then it had on the right Jones and Ramsay, as opposed to Burke and Assimwe. 

    The midfield missed Docherty.

    Godden appears a lot in the traning videos, so I would guess he's closest. Edwards is definitely out in Slovenia, but I seem to recall Jones saying we'd see him by the end of pre season. Mbick I don't know, I haven't seen him in the pre season videos but I also don't watch all of them/watch them that closely.

    Docherty was missing also. He's definitely out there, but slowly being eased back I assume.

    I would assume the first 4 are only playing because  1) they are out there doing pre-season AND 2) we haven't signed their replacements yet. 

    If we start the season with any of those 4 in the matchday squad then we have problems.
