So do last years aways and STs no longer count?

If so all STs have same priority for first away game?

Wonder how many times you have to post that graphic this season @clive

i would imagine the scheme remains much the same as previously with last season's points counting, the only change will be from this upcoming season Home match tickets points will increase to 10 points per game.

Id imagine the previous seasons points roll over, just like it always has done in the past.

Has there been any more info on the membership schemes and/or VGs role going forward ?

Never understood why going to support the team away in the cup is seen as less loyal than a league game. Those of us that made it to Preston away in the FA Cup last season only got 5 points for our efforts.
You should probably get more for an away cup match, especially if we’re playing a non-prem team!

Good point, that was months ago that they announced this - weird that they haven’t provided details yet

As has been explained numerous times, login to the Ticket Website, click on your name/number which is on the top right of the page & the points total will be displayed with your personal details.

It’s all laughable, you can go to Halifax away and only get 5 points. The club couldn’t run a bath. Done my 10 year old out of 90 points this season for away games as they couldn’t back date it apparently. With proof of purchase and a photo in the ground

Sorry do you expect our club to reward customers for getting the low price tickets to team like halifax?

    Valley Gold

In previous seasons, those with Valley Gold subscriptions have enjoyed a small discount on season tickets. Alongside the Charlton Advisory Board and the Valley Gold committee, we are engaging in a review of potential future membership scheme formats, including how Valley Gold - a much-loved and historic part of the Charlton Athletic family which provides excellent opportunities for our academy including in recent years numerous tours abroad and new academy mini-busses - might develop.

The programme will launch before the start of the 2026/27 season, and include within it a rebate for season-ticket holders at least equal to previous discount levels.

No more updates from the club since that was put out a couple of months ago when the season tickets were announced

Would it be impossible to simplify this?
Go on the official site, and the first page should welcome you by name (if previously registered), and next to your name is says how many loyalty points you have.
    As in.
‘Welcome Back Phyllis. You have 100 loyalty points’.

Nothing in IT and Web Development is impossible, but it’s unlikely to be as simple as those not working in IT and Web Development  would think.

Why didn't you link the tickets to his account when you bought them?

I’m going for a £15 membership fee, which if you’re a VG member you get for free.

    What?
Allocate the ticket/points as you buy the tickets, whatever next?

Imagine if all the fans didn't bother to allocate their tickets and turned up at the end of the season and asked the club to look at their phone photos to back date all the allocation that they hadn't bothered to do.

It might take them all summer.

Anyway, it's all the club's fault.

An issue of not having enough points at the time and the clubs software unable to add these on at the time of purchase

If Joe Bloggs has 600 points and his son has 230 then Joe can purchase 2 tickets at that time but only Joe will get his points.

Joe’s son can claim his points if an email is sent into the club one working day before the game in question

If the request is put in after the game then the club will not add the points on. The reason why is unclear but that would be an issue to take up with the Ticket Office staff

Shame for the Bloggs family, they’re big Charlton fans.

Not if Bloggs Jr doesn’t have enough loyalty points to have bought in that phase

He can if they both enough points in that phase. Otherwise you go through the option as i have highlighted by contacting the club before the game

The entire system is totally unclear.

Lack of decent communication once again & who suffers as a result ?

But how many games last season sold out before making the later phases? People panic and think we'll sell out days  before we actually do

Shouldn’t need one as we have already paid for it several times over.
