Maybe Chelsea might give us big money for Kaminski?1

Forest apparently paying £50m for Liam Delap, seems a hell of a lot given he didn't look great last season.0

Seems all the Prem clubs are in cahoots to overpay eachother to get around the financial rules as much as they canNorth Lower Neil said:Forest apparently paying £50m for Liam Delap, seems a hell of a lot given he didn't look great last season.3 -

Delap looked strong and quick at Ipswich but in the cameos at Chelsea he is well off the pace.
Chelsea paid 30 million( release clause) and Liam have been underwhelming since, so how is he worth 50 million now 🤔1 -
I see Chelsea have " sold" rumours thread mention Omari Kellyman to Strasbourg.0
-
Chelsea have somehow got rid of Delap and Garnacho for just over 100m.0
-
It seems that French football doesn't have squad size limits, which is handy for Chelsea.

Imo there is definitely something not right about a lot of these transfer prices. Chelsea and City seem to be getting tidy profits on average players lolsoapboxsam said:North Lower Neil said:Forest apparently paying £50m for Liam Delap, seems a hell of a lot given he didn't look great last season.

Seen this mentioned online quite a lot by rival fans but for it to be a feasible theory then we are basically saying that the buying clubs are in on this plan. And for what? Why would these clubs want high purchase prices on their books to help City and Chelsea?AndyG said:

As you said what has this lad done since moving there to give Chelsea a £20m profit0 -
I guess in most cases, City and Chelsea are selling young players so the potential is still there. Savinho is 22 and Delap 23 so Spurs and Forest will think they can unlock that potential. Delap was terrible at Chelsea but was good for Ipswich when he played regularly.AndyG said:

I think we can all agree the fees are stupid but so is the transfer market in general. PSG signing Neymar for 200m and the wave of expensive signings going to Saudi have fucked the market. 50m players are going for 80-100. 30m players are going for 50m. It's crazy everywhere.
Silly fees are not exclusive to City and Chelsea sales though. Man U paid 80m for Maguire 7 years ago and also paid 85m for Antony. Chelsea paid 80m for Fofana 4 years ago and 115m for Caicedo 3 years ago. Madrid have just bought Diomande for 125m after 1 season in the Bundesliga.2 -

Wait until we eventually get a 'Netflix for the Premier league' style streaming service and the broadcast revenue jumps up by many more billions.2 -
Whisper it quietly but could this be the year we finally see Palace in relegation trouble?
They've got all kinds of problems. Already lost Guehi and Lacroix this year, now Munoz wants out (reportedly to join Glasner at Forest), Sarr is going and Mateta won't be far behind him. They lost centre back Riad to an ACL last week and their new signing Ordonez failed a medical yesterday.
They also have European football to deal with and their lineup tonight looks very much like a side that should struggle.4 -
Man City are being annoyingly wasteful tonight against the stripy twats.

Cherki is a bit good isnt he1

Clicked into gear a bit now and 3-1 up. Cherki is running everything.lordromford said:Man City are being annoyingly wasteful tonight against the stripy twats.1 -
Palace bottom of the table on goal difference, their team is a mess and Selhurst is like a morgue. Love it.6

They could be shit for weeks and then they'll beat Liverpool at Selhurst or something stupid and end up staying up.5
-
Probably true but that side is definitely going to have a job finishing higher than 17th. Unfortunately i suspect they will end up surviving because the 3 promoted clubs probably won't even get to 30 points.MarcusH26 said:They could be shit for weeks and then they'll beat Liverpool at Selhurst or something stupid and end up staying up.
Hopefully one of them can get to 35-36 and make life tough for Palace.4 -
Just want to point out that @Sage... You're doing a beautiful job mate, especially with a new born as well - Keep it up, but do try to win some games, we dont want a repeat of de Boer where he has such a bad run, they sack him and get someone actually competent in2
-
Yeah I think it's a finish 17th and saved by the Newly Promoted 3 really struggling unfortunately. Hopefully Cov or Hull will make it a bit interesting!Chris_from_Sidcup said:

Ipswich are surely going to be better equipped this time round to survive. The worry is that Sunderland will let Palace off the hook instead2
-
Why Sunderland? Did really well last season, haven't lost any main players and they will always be tough to beat at home. I guess playing in Europe will naturally see a league drop off but i don't envisage them being that bad they end up in a relegation battle.
