Very sad to say that Keith's family have reported that he died on 4 June 2026. He was 89.
Born in Deal in 1936, Keith join Charlton from Betteshanger Colliery in 1954 after previously playing for Deal Town.
He played one first team game in the old first division in May 1955 but was always behind Billy Kiernan and Don Townsend in the pecking order.
He played twice in the 60/61 season before leaving for Wigan, Hastings Utd and Arcadia Shepherds in South Africa.
