Once again, I am organising the CL First Fixture Draw in aid of the magnificent Charlton Upbeats. Who will our first opponents be? Millwall? Sheffield Wednesday? West Ham?

The first 46 people to pledge £10 will be entered into the competition, in which you will be drawn for a potential first fixture for the 2026-27 season. Just reply 'IN' on the thread below (no other comments, please). If you get the right fixture, you will win a pot of £150 and, what's more, if you get the last fixture, you will win a consolation prize of £30. All the prize money comes from my company's sponsorship, so every penny you pledge goes to The Upbeats.

For tax reasons (I assume), JustGiving is jumpy about donations being for a competition or a sweepstake. Indeed, last year, they banned my original page. So, to be clear, you are making a £10 donation to the Upbeats, and I will ensure that the competition runs as usual with prizes for the winners. Consequently, the Justgiving page is rather terse and says nothing about it being for a prize draw or anything else.

If you want to read more about The Upbeats, click here.

It would help me a lot if you made your donation at the same time as typing 'IN'. You can do this online at this link. When making a payment, please leave your Charlton Life ID or inbox me on the Charlton Life forum.

All pledges must be paid for by Monday, June 22nd, at 13:00; otherwise, they will be offered to others.

The fixtures are announced on Thursday, 25th June. The draw to find out which team you get will take place live online on Tuesday, 23rd June, at 10:00. You can watch the draw live at this link.

If you can't make it, the draw will be posted online shortly afterwards. This is a great cause, and thank you once again in advance for your support.
