Great game for the neutral, best game so far. From an England point of view one of the top teams will put 4/5 past this defence0

No more than Croatia deserve, I’m afraid. They are finding their men better than us and have more control of the game.
Our midfield has been largely non-existent and the defence - and Stones in particular - all over the shop. Maybe Cape Verde could give us a bit of coaching in the art of defending.Hopefully a big improvement coming in the second half. If not, we’re in trouble.1 -

Thought we looked alright tbh. Couple nervous mistakes at the back but the xG tells the main story and against a reasonably decent side.Would like to see Gordon in the game a bit more. Madueke stretched them a couple of times.3

I said it last night, the game is full of pussys falling over and getting away with it, when they’ve hardly been touched, and what makes it worse are fans shouting for free kicks when it happens, the games gone!!Laddick01 said:

We’ve not been clean but both of their goals have been due to very good attacking play (how intelligent was that Perisic header???) rather than a massive issue with England.Laddick01 said:You’d have to say, although our defending has been shaky, they’ve scored two very nice goals.The bigger issue is how cheaply we’re giving the ball away under pressure.
