    Feels very scrappy with nothing really allowed to build because of the tit-for-tat midfield fouling.

    Worry is that Argentina are happy with this because over 120 minutes one of Fernandes/Messi/Alvarez can stick one in from 30 yards. 

    Not sure we quite have that from our squad.

    I don't think the ref has been too bad tbh, apart from missing a couple of potential yellows for them I thought he's been decent enough. Seems I'm in the minority

    I would like to formally apologise for complaining on the other thread about refs not blowing up right on the injury time and allowing corners.

    I thought when he booked Anderson he booked at least one of theirs before. He was waving the yellow card in the air in the face of them

    he started well and hasn’t been bad blowing for the free-kicks. But he should have started booking them earlier.

    He's fit but not match sharp. But I thought there were glimpses near the end of the half that he was getting used to the pace of it.
    Rice looks more off it to me

    James, Kane and Rice have all been disappointing. James in particular looks off the pace of a game like this. 

    Djed Spence has been brilliant. Bellingham has been trying to get on the ball at least. Rogers on the right just hasn't worked. 

    There's not going to be much in this. I'm finding it absolute torture.

    I give that first half 60/40 to us. But they have a bloke that has made a career out of turning games like this on their head.

    I didn’t mind that in itself because time was up, but I do have an issue with the fact he only added 3 minutes on. Did he not notice the multiple times the game was delayed because players were being pulled apart and prevented from having a ruck?
