    Can’t defend like this for 30 mins plus injury time. Worked vs Mexico but they didn’t have Messi. Messi has played against mass ranked defence like this his whole career and scored 900 goals through it. We need to try and exert some control. We are better than them and can do it.

    To be fair, very important not to concede  within a 5 or 10 of scoring, but this absolutely is the kind of situation that we are all hoping Tuchel will get something out of England that Southgate couldn’t and build on a winning position.

    Have to hope gaps on the break will start to open up.
