    Watched along, thinking how great Henry Winter was! 
    Some brilliant (and almost random/bizarre) stories from his world of football that involved Charlton- which Rich and Ben spoke really positively and openly about the club this season.

    An interesting session with three excellent journalists.

    Very encouraging to hear from Rich Cawley that Micah Mbick played 45 minutes against Fulham yesterday and scored, so is clearly on the way back.

    Good to hear Henry Winter praise Rich Cawley which is generous and well deserved from a national Journalist to a local sports journo.
    Excellent 90 minutes and great work by CAST to have Rich, Henry and Ben Ransom discuss Charlton and other issues.

    Surprised me a bit when Ben Ransom said he'd only had half a glass of wine - he was sipping at it frequently and the level never seemed to drop. I suspect someone out of shot was topping it up for him.

    Thank you very much to the folks who worked to make this happen and to the folks who took part, it was 90 mins of ever so well worth it questions, answers and stories. 
    It would be interesting to see what the guys make of their seasons predictions at a point or 2 as the season unfolds and to see if they want to revise them.......

    I think last night really highlighted how the money needed and the difficulty in retaining Championship status will be for Charlton and others like us and therefore we may need a huge slice of good fortune, NJ performing miracles and players stepping up to the crease?

    Which in many respects doesn’t bode well, but does identify why our owners are seeking additional investment?

    Interesting that all three experts predicted that at some point the current spending by clubs will eventually implode.

    Our experts predicted a tough season ahead but they all thought Charlton would stay up. 

    They were unanimous in hating VAR

    They weren't too keen on Gianni Infantino either.

    And Henry Winter told us about his lunch with "utterly charming" Katrien Meire..............
