Thinking of joining England+ to get tickets for England Vs Spain with the boy. Is the membership worth getting ? No idea how easy/hard it is to get tickets for England games outside of a major tournament/finals.

    Is this a different membership to the travel club?

    I am a member of the travel club and that is worth it for cheaper home tickets during the priority window. Membership has seen a massive up take over recent years so getting away games is harder but I'm hopeful of getting tickets for Euro 28 and World Cup 2030.

    Think it’s a really new membership thing tbh. I thought it was free until this summer. Basically guarantees you home tickets before they go on general sale.

    I have been an England travel club member for 10+ years and can probably think of 1 home match which sold out the day it hit general sale. I expect Spain to sell out instantly when it goes on general sale. For that reason alone  I would get it. 

    For every other England home match it’s not worth it. Still tens of thousands of Czech tickets left. For home matches, tickets go on sale to ESTC who buy all the cheap tickets. If you log on the moment they go on sale at England + level you’ll probably get one of the cheaper remaining tickets for about £35. Rather than at general sale when they only have £45 tickets left.

    Imagine if you put on here you wanted a free England v Czech ticket or England v Croatia ticket, or England v whoever you’ll probably get 50 messages desperate to give them to you. No chance you will get an England v Spain ticket that way.

    It’s brand new so hard to say how much benefit ticket wise. England home games are usually fine to get tickets in general sale, the Czech game is still up for sale and went on sale before the World Cup, although Spain is more enticing. I’d say each home game will definitely go to general sale but with potentially 40,000 ESTC members now a lot of the cheaper tickets will already have gone before they get to general sale or even England + sale. I personally don’t see the exclusive England + window making much difference to just waiting for general sale tbh

    It feels like it's just £20 extra on your Spain tickets to be honest.

    Yeah its new, ESTG is shut for applications again unfortunately.

    I guess if I can get 4 tickets for £35 instead of £45 it pays for its self. I imagine the Spain tickets will fly as its them and a weekend game.

    This is mental. There’s currently 30,000 ESTC members, can’t believe there’s 30,000 plus England plus members

    You can buy 8 tickets per membership.

     Shows how popular the games can be against someone like Spain with Yamal and not a school night. I didnt bother in the end, not sure jnr woke cope with the late night and queues to get out.
