Middlesbrough Away Trains 31/10

ENGINEERING WORKS: LNER services are reduced in frequency, with no trains between Doncaster and Northallerton due to engineering works on this route. Rail replacement coaches will operate to provide connections between Doncaster, York, Northallerton and Darlington leading to significant extended journey times. LNER trains are expected to be busy, and seat reservations are recommended

The flip side is that those games that are at a distance have to go into midweek. It is a deliberate act - but the reason for it is to ensure we get bigger crowds at weekends rather than lower crowds in the midweek."
I think it's a more relevant point for the lower leagues though. As let's be honest pretty much every championship side is selling their away allocation for a local game whether it's Tuesday or Saturday. But we will definitely take less to Burnley midweek than we would on a Saturday.
