Just 1 out of 78 lifers got a return in week 1.

@The Red Robin is the weekly winner with picks of a home win for Bradford City against Peterborough United (1.67), and a home win for Bolton Wanderers against Preston North End (2.2), netting £36.74.

Collectively we'd have been down £733.26 this week with the real bookie.

The best possible treble was: a Draw in Wolverhampton Wanderers vs Blackburn Rovers (3.9), an away win for Bromley FC against Barnsley (3.75), and an away win for West Bromwich Albion against Norwich City (3.6). A £10.00 treble on this returned £526.50.

The Rules

  • Each week a selection from the weekends games will be posted up.
  • You will be given a virtual tenner to put on either a single, double or treble.
  • Simply post your bet from the selections and we'll work out everyone's virtual winnings/losses over the season.
  • If you don't use your bet you get -£10 for that week for competition purposes.
  • Anyone joining part way through the season will start on the same balance as the lowest in the competition.
  • Any bets affected by postponements will be settled using remaining selections. If all selections are cancelled you will get a £20 stake for the next round.
