    Unbelievably proud.

Caught the 2nd half as was out but that was enough to see how much we deserved it.

Pleased Taty missed after horrendous dive, proper karma.

West Ham fans can say what they like if we are shit etc. the multi million pound team just lost to the "shit" so have a think about that.

    Up the Addicks!!!

Coventry didn't have his arms out in an unatural position and had it not touched his hand it would have hit him in the chest or face.
His arms were out making his body bigger, it’s a natural way to move but those are given very regularly

Again we didn’t panic when we conceded. Thats an improvement.

    No one played badly.

Apart from the goalkeeper parry that led to their goal this looks a good signing - he was always looking to move the ball out quickly.

In truth we’d expect the penalty if it was the other way around.

6 points can’t be argued with.

Watched the game expecting the worst.  But they felt like Leicester disjointed and whinging, doubt with the same result but for a long period they were abject.

    What a result 🤩👏🏻👏🏻
Listening in it sounded like every player gave their all.
    Delighted for the travelling Addicks.

Hilarious listening to Brownie have the right hump with the ref for awarding the pen and then a blunt ‘good’ when the argie missed 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

It was 100% a penalty. Our players didn’t even argue it.

I thought referee was OK first half, they must have put something in the tea at half time and gave him a West Ham shirt to wear. Apart from the penalty there was the sub  and then Jones booked for receiving a push.
Jones was booked (rightly) for trying to put off the penalty taker
If that's true, if ever there was a 'taking one for the team' booking, then that is genius!

It was the away shirts and the spirit of ‘47 that did it.

Was expecting a hammering, but blimey what a win.

I’m not going to get carried away, though hard not to, still a long way to go but a terrific start.

Well done to one and all.

My wet spam mate was at the match and said we were shite and they were all over us. Said the ref was a cheat disallowing 2 goals for them and should have given them another pen. Reckoned our goals were both very lucky
Ask him if he wants vinegar with his chips!

Just seen the penalty and we had a player encroaching in the D, decent referee would have allowed them to take it again.
Thank goodness he isn't a decent ref 😂

As I said before - there are no free hits in the Championship. We have a side with real spirit, you can buy surface gloss like Wet Spam but you can't buy spirit for all the money in the universe. I feel that most teams will have to match us for spirit to get something off us this season.

Just about calmed down enough to type.

Superb away win against a side who will improve and will be at/near top of the table at end of season.

A rock of a performance from everyone in our new away shirt. The calmness of keeper and defence, strong formation from midfield who didn’t panic when the ball was moved around them a lot, and then the front three just terrific, especially that second goal forcing there defender in to a mistake and a quality quality finish.

Apart from singing forever bubbles at start of game, the loud booing at HT and FT, and a bit of excitement when they scored, didn’t hear anything from West Ham fans on tv at all. Was all our fans and glad everyone there enjoyed an epic result.

Best we have played since Ipswich away.
    Penalty miss was justice.
Whole-team effort, very hard to single out anyone for praise…. But McNamara could barely stand towards the end.

Perry Groves (Talk Sport commentary) said well deserved and that we are a team and outworked them.

MOM Grant was really good, but TC takes it for his creativity.

    Please sign TC.
He was spot on. Team spirit and graft versus a team that thought it had a divine right.

I said this time last season when we beat Sheff U, they would finish above us and added to my LOLs
I never learn and say Hammers will finish above us

We were well set up, played some decent football and apart from the last few minutes we always carried a threat. A proper team performance.

@ForeverAddickted I swore in front of my boy and upset my wife because of your updates! 🤣.

I'll forgive you. Absolutely buzzing right now!!!

    Up the fucking Addicks!
I jumped up and cheered and shouted “fucking have that you mug” when they missed the pen

Let's not be too harsh on Mbick/Mwamba, it was going to be hard for them to make a massive impact especially as West Ham scored not long after they came on and it was one way traffic after that. They are clearly going to be very involved this season and they will have better days for sure

Didn’t want to mention any particular player, as that was a superb team effort. But, I’m really enjoying McNamara. Very calm on and off the ball and happy to stick up for all his teammates and get in the face of any opposition.

If they have any sense the club will get McNamara to do media duties
