We’d have lost that if we had Kaminski or Mannion in goals.
Didn’t play particularly well but take that point all day long. Have a feeling West Brom will sneak play offs this season they look miles better than last year.22 -
West Brom are going to embarrass a few this season at home with that style of play but not the Addicks.10

West Brom didn’t have a clear cut chance all game so pleased with how we defended. Should’ve got out to Styles quicker but it’s still a brilliant strike to score from there through bodies.

A very well drilled Charlton team. WBA can pass around as much as they want but they forget the objective is getting the ball in the onion bag. They had one chance and took it…as what we did..innit!

Great point against a good side. Bit worrying that we couldn’t any of the ball for 70 minutes but we defended our box really well and got what we deserved.Bindon looked very good and his long throw is a BULLET.Mesik has to start. Love bell but with him and Danny Mac as full backs our wing play is one dimensional. He’s always making runs, giving attackers options and dragging players out of position.Not sure on Ouma and very happy we have Skipp to come in.Okonkwo very good at coming crosses. Don’t think there was anything he could do about the goal.
TC grew into the game. Ref gave us no protection.5 -
The game had one big chance and it fell to TC who scored. On another day that would been a smash and grab one nil.

Excellent equaliser. Great cross by Ivan well won by Miles and clinical finish from TC.
10 points from 4 games. Happy with that.

Had to watch a west brom stream. Apparently that was a goal of the season contender...
Also Leaburn had a frustrating night when he departed, so maybe he didnt get an assist after all?9 -
Just on the way back into Brum, good battling performance and one of those where you realise we definitely are at this level, seeing the spanners tonked

Okonkwo is a huge improvement over TK. How on earth could Wrexham not want him?
Very promising debut for Bindon.
NJ has put together a really strong squad. Mesik and JRC coming on made a huge difference.
Just a shame the first substitutions weren't made 5 minutes earlier.
Lets carry on this run on Saturday at Stoke.8 -
That TC finish is going under the radar, he properly lashes it in but it's really well directed too31

Fantastic to NOT lose, great point on the road.Going into Stoke on a come back draw, rather than a defeat will keep moral up.TC, has matched his goals scored last season already. This guy is going to go for big bucks.

Campbell is the man. One of the best in the league on this form.
Okonkwo very good and looking a big upgrade on Kaminski and Mannion so far.
Coventry covered the ground superbly and his passing seems to have become a lot more positive.
McNamara got stuck in but thought it was his worst performance so far. Possibly fatigued from so much football for the first time in a while.
Ouma showed signs of quality on the ball. A lot of potential there, let's see how he develops as he adapts to the championship and how we play.
Some rash tackles and poor headers but overall a promising debut from Bindon.
Mwamba couldn't really get into the game. Possibly better as a sub for the time being, or starting against teams where we're going to have more possession.
JRC and Mesik both had a big impact off the bench. Some of JRC's passing was excellent.
3rd place, and that only on goal difference....Millwall losing...a pretty decent evening, I'd say.

Crap 60 mins but looked the more likely to win it in the last 30. Great changes from the bench let us play through the lines. JRC made a big difference dropping into pockets of space and bringing others into play.
Bell and Mac had poor games. Coventry was everywhere again. Leaburn didn't get much change from their CBs. Mwamba showed he's still learning. Mesik is starting to remind me of Hreidarsson.

A great point, somewhat a classic Jones smash and grab from us. Think the starting 11 was a mistake and we surrendered any kind of control but did defend resolutely, but you always felt we'd get a chance or 2 on the break and with Campbells starting the season on fine form we had a fighters chance, and so it was.
Thought costello played well when he came on, Campbell had flashes and a tidy finish, leaburn battled hard but found it tough being so isolated against their CBs. Binden is an absolute beast, him and Lloyd look real solid. Ivan created a little and looked alright once on, surely not long till he's starting games. Timmy made some good passes but still felt he's getting used to the pace of the game over here, I think once up to speed he'll be a great addition thou, Skipp should slot straight in.
Happy with the point, wish we'd started with stronger midfield and taken game to them a bit more, but overall what a start to the season we've had.0 -
Great away point. The reality of progressing to mid table mediocrity is that sometimes you’ll be a bit mediocre. What I took away especially in that first half is that while we’re still not always fluid we’re visibly much better than we were last season. Pace on the break, more comfortable midfielders and a backline that’s well drilled enough for us to not need the extra man. There’s obviously better players on the pitch and it shows.The one mistake I thought we made was that we started all of our players with game-changing pace and directness and it meant when it didn’t work from the off we had nothing to bring on to finish them off after we scored. Carey might not have looked great the other day but he allowed us to hit Preston with pace after they’d got settled by bringing on Alli and we lacked a bit of that tonight. The changes were good though and Mesik getting up the wing in a way that would have made Bell’s hamstrings hurt just looking at it was brilliant to see. Ouma the Puma looked like an absolutely mad footballer and he’ll give away about three goals this season but he will absolutely be behind one or two of our most insane goals as well.Mwamba looked a bit out of his depth which makes me very glad we recognised the need for Skipp. I think an extra bit of calm and control in that midfield tonight would have helped. The main thing is there was never any sense that we were going to crumble away after they scored which wasn’t always the case last season. 10 points from four games, unbeaten and looking good. Incredible stuff12

Heart doesn't skip a beat when the opposition get round our box nearly as much with Okonkwo in goal. Can forgive him the odd stray kick, a bit like Dean Kiely in that respect. Good shot stopper.
JRC was excellent, and I like he's got a bit of fire in him.

That goal we conceded was very reminiscent of last year.
Without Chalobah we struggled to control the ball in midfield but Coventry worked hard to break up their play.
Mwamba doesn't look ready to start (yet) and I can see why we've brought Skipp in.
Mesik has to start at LB for me.
Okonkwo looks really good between the sticks.
Not our best performance this season but great to remain undefeated. 10 points down, 40 to go.5
