TC must be injured. Why else take off one of if not our best attacking player when 3-0 down?
    definitely not injured -

trying to keep it at 3-0

    I think it'll get to 5 personally

Nathan Jones really struggles against teams he’s previously coached. Same as last year
Not sure how Jones takes the blame for this? We were well on top and the ref just gifted them a goal.
    It was a penalty

    Campbell off?
Is this all about damage limitation now?

You would think these were the games he'd REALLY want to win as well
Probably part of the problem, he gets in his own head and tries to be too clever, like the team selection and high line against Southampton at home
  • The amount of money Stoke have spent don’t be surprised we’re getting pasted.

Our current position means nothing so early in the season. We will get pasted a couple of times this season

Because we aren’t coming back from 3-0 down and we have a match on Wednesday which becomes the priority.

For someone always accused of loving being in the spotlight he absolutely crumbles when it's on him.

We dont have a good enough squad to make this many changes.

It’s September - Norbury should be too tired at this stage FFS. Totally screwed it by messing with the team
Not sure what Callum Harriott's place of birth has to do with this?

We did beat Stoke at home last season but I cant recall him winning any others.

Outside of Ouma, I really haven’t rated Bindon or Grant so far.

Both look poor. Terrible starting 11, and we look totally clueles
  • Just don't understand why take TC off? Makes no sense.

This may prove that our strength in depth isn’t quite there yet

Doesn’t really explain the other two though.

Playing 2 new midfielders with a weird defensive lineup was really odd.

As long as he fixes it for next game that’s fine. But still annoying today.
  • Seems like we are missing ‘league one standard’ Conor Coventry.

Nah got a good result away at saints last year
There are obviously anomalies to this, but in general it’s not been great

Only just got in to watch it. Skipp and Ouma double pivot working well then
  • Playing with 10 men. It's insane. Ouma should have been off after 15 minutes.  He's not even League Two level.

Ouma's chasing shadows, get him off halftime at the latest

Jones has lost the plot today with the starting 11 and now taking Campbell off.
Before the penalty we were the better team. Not sure it’s all on Jones. The players have responded poorly to going behind
They absolutely folded. Not even marking anyone for that cross.

Too much being put on Ouma here tbh
I feel sorry for him. Not his fault he was picked. Even when him comes on at West Brom some of his passing was poor, today it’s been even worse. The pen was soft but he was holding the guy, dragged him down, wasn’t looking at the ball, wasn’t surprised it was given.

Any team can have a good 10 mins.

Playing players out of position and a brand new midfield 3 is completely on jones

Well - aside from losing this heavily - the first 10 was great - really solid.

I reckon we'll lose this by 5 and move on.

    That's the championship for you.

Didn't feel good when the team was anounced. That's on Jones.

Softish penalty puts an end to an OK start. Frustrating, but it happens.

The capitulation since then is on all of them (not just Ouma). Shocking.

I know that we can write players off too soon etc.

But sometimes you can tell a player isn’t at the level. This is up there with Thuram/Seabourne/Lepoint levels of ugly.
  • Just don't understand why take TC off? Makes no sense.
We ain’t winning this, just rest him up for the next game.

Lose this, but beat QPR and it’s still a very above expectation start for us.

He would struggle to break into my local club in the Faroe Islands, never mind any league club in England.

    Agree. A sensible summing up.

Stoke bringing on a non-scoring striker to get into goalscoring form is the biggest piss take
