OKONKWO: 9 - one great kick save. Hes a shot stopper. Also claimed a few crosses low across his box without offering any rebound opportunity. Only flapped once and he Must have seen 30+ crosses into his box.MESIK: 7.5 - played well. Won a few tackles and at times was involved in our most dangerous opportunities. For a large lad, he's got some ability to get into the offense and try to make something happen.JONES: 8 - won so many headers and clearances. Was communicating really well today with his teammates.BINDEN: 5 - could have cost us the game with his giveaway. Looks nervous on the ball. Did okay for his CB responsibilities but nothing else was up to par.BELL: 6 - except the occasional burst of pace to push up the field and escape pressure, its like he's only on one speed the entire game. Albeit a smooth pace, I'd just like to see some more energy from our LB position.COVENTRY: 7 - mopped up the best he could. Right place, right time kind of player. I think QPR ran the CM today w Kamara at the heart of it. Hoping Coventry can get involved more offensively to keep possession and drift into pockets between the defense and midfield. We need his distribution and link up play desperately.SKIPP: 6 - did okay. His first touch let him down a few times today. Work ethic was high and if he can gain some confidence on the ball and pick the right passes, like the one he did for Campbell's offside goal, I can see the hype.GRANT: 6.5 - his agility & acceleration are his best assets but at times runs himself into a wall. The early flick ons and 1 2s were close to unlocking an attempt but it wasn't executed.CAREY: 5 - so he's running himself ragged chasing down the opposition. Just don't know how to get him involved and running at their defense. Maybe drop deeper and keep possession then once we get into their half, he can get some creativity going.CAMPBELL: 7 - he's our only real threat at the moment. He's the fastest player on the pitch. Every single time he ran down the sidelines and didn't cut inside but Still he beat his man. Problem is his final decision at times, which has always been a concern. Things didn't quite come off today and execute, but still our most dangerous option.LEABURN: 6.5 - his first touch is getting better and better while his confidence grows. Should hv scored on that open header early in the game, need to hit the target there. Hope he's not injured?J. R-C: 7 - plays with a purpose. Knows if he can get on the ball, then pass wide to Campbell in a 1v1, hes doing his job moving us forward. Did ok at his right back cameo too. I like him off the bench, but not sure who is better to replace a Out of form Carey.MBICK: 3 - jogs around at half speed after just coming on. I think he's actually just going thru the motions rather than imposing himself. I think once Kelman and Godden are fit, his place on team will be limited. I apologise as this is a ratings thread but they had 72.3 percent possession with us at home skip getting a 9 😂 our midfield basically camped on the edge of the box or played as defenders for most of the game with the occasional break away, I normally give you the benefit of the the doubt but this is trollling to the next degree. OKONKWO: 8.5 - almost flawless, just one awful bit of distribution which he got lucky didn’t cost us
MESIK: 7.0 - he offered a little more than Bell offensively, but QPR also got more joy down his side as a result.
JONES: 8.5 - hard to fault, he wins everything in the air of course. Maybe a little more nous playing out from the back would help us build plays.
BINDEN: 7.0 - suggest too much being made of his one major mistake in possession, he was still part of a back four that only allowed one big chance
BELL: 7.0 - solid positioning allowed us to keep shape well, but was caught in possession a couple of times and offers no real outlet on the left.
COVENTRY: 7.0 - wish he had a bit more aggression about him sometimes, but good positioning and screened well.
SKIPP: 7.5 - neat and tidy, makes a load of covering runs to drop into positions others vacate. Terrific ball for TC’s “goal”.
GRANT: 6.5 - against West Ham, Grant was so composed carrying the ball through the lines on the counter. He couldn’t do that this time.
CAREY: 5.0 - has no influence when we’re not on the ball, and couldn’t get into the game the limited time we had it.
CAMPBELL: 7.5 - hard working out of possession, tracking back regularly despite high starting position.
LEABURN: 6.5 - isolated, works hard but nothing coming off. Will miss him if his injury keeps him out.
