Parking at Cardiff.

Anyone got any suggestions? Other than taking a chance getting into the stadium car park for £10 I’m struggling to find anything less than about £15 at very best.

NCP’s  in the City Centre for 6 hours is a fiver.

Admittedly a long walk back and forth but it’s the cheapest option I can find

Hopefully the link works but try just park. The Asda near the stadium is £6 for 12-6:30 for instance.

Pretty sure there’s an ancient right that, as an Englishman, you can park wherever the fuck you want whenever you want in Wales.

That’s actually what we’ll do most likely. Luckily me and the lad don’t mind a walk.

There is some free parking at the bottom of Leckwith Road. It’s a 5 min walk to the ground from there. City fans park there so only really useful if you’re getting to Cardiff early.

As long as one gets there early enough* there is usually some free parking to be found in and around Cornwall Street and the surrounding streets, all of which are 10-15 minutes walk from the ground.

* Unfortunately the early kick off won’t help in this regard.

Away supporters should take the second exit onto Hadfield Road and then the third left on to Bessemer Road. Travel to the end of Bessemer Road and turn left at the traffic lights onto Sloper Road. Travel along Sloper Road and turn left on to Clos Parc Morgannwg towards the away supporters dedicated car park.

*****from the Cardiff website.

10 years ago (ish) I remember street parking in the Grangetown area (to the south of the Principality Stadium). I don't know if this is still available.

That was the night Cardiff got promoted to the Premier League.

Used to work at a Recording Studio that's right in that area, wouldn't suggest parking your car if you want your tires and wing view mirrors still attached afterwards! The bridge you cross over is tight too and often has scrap lorries bombing over it too

Just as an advisory - Cardiff Rugby play Exeter Chiefs in a pre-season friendly at Cardiff Arms Park (basically the Principality Stadium) at 3pm Saturday. May add to City Centre traffic.

I've booked at Gol Centres, 10min walk from stadium. £10 but get £9 to spend at the bar there.
