12 out of 72 lifers got a return in week 5.

@oohaahmortimer is the weekly winner with picks of an away win for Nottingham Forest against Aston Villa (3.1), a home win for Blackburn Rovers against Millwall (2.75), and an away win for Stoke City against Watford (2.9), netting a massive £247.22.

As a result, @oohaahmortimer also now leads overall.

Collectively we'd have been up £443.37 this week with the real bookie. Across the season we're down £1141.58 overall.

The best possible treble was: a Draw in Chelsea vs Hull City (5.5), a Draw in Liverpool vs Fulham (4.6), and an away win for Ipswich Town against Crystal Palace (3.8). A £10.00 treble on this returned £961.40.

The Rules

  • Each week, a selection of games from the weekend's fixtures will be posted.
  • You will be given a virtual £10 to put on either a single, double or treble.
  • Simply post your bet from the available selections and we'll work out everyone's virtual winnings/losses over the season.
  • Bets must be posted before kick-off of the first match included in your bet. Once a match has kicked off, you cannot add, remove or change a selection involving that match. Failure to adhere to this will result in the bet being lost.
  • If you don't use your bet, you get -£10 for that week for competition purposes.
  • Anyone joining part way through the season will start on the same balance as the lowest in the competition.
  • Any bets affected by postponements will be settled using the remaining selections. If all selections are cancelled, you will get a £20 stake for the next round.
