“If I say what I think of the Irish players, I'd likely be suspended for a few matches,” Solomon told Israeli television.

“Obviously, they hate us. We don't like them. I'm waiting for the next game against them. It will be a completely different game.”

He added: “We have a country 10 times better than theirs, stronger, an amazing country with amazing people.”

Captain of Israel wondering why everyone hates them, then proceeds to show everyone exactly why.

    Disgusting comment by Solomon.

On a different note I noticed that one Nations league group is lead by Luxembourg, while the bottom ream, who I assume they beat, is Bulgaria. Real decline for the Bulgarians.

Big comments after his team just got smashed 3-0.

Israel alongside Kazakhstan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and probably others are not geographically in Europe but are affiliated with UEFA so play in UEFA competitions.

Similarly Australia are now affiliated to the Asian Federation but are not geographically in Asia.
Guyana - geographically in South America, play in the North American/Caribbean confederation

Arguably one of the greatest goals of all time scored in an Irish jersey.
