I **think** that's worked - any errors, typos, feedback etc. tell AFKA and he can sack me...or me, and I'll do better

Thanks - so they did. Will have a look at how it’s missed that. And I think due to typos etc it may have missed some Kelman games so will check those out.

Very interesting and must have taken a long while. It needed this good work to help us miss LL and all the good work over the years.
Look forward to this every game TRR

Thanks for all the time you've put in, great stuff. Both Mesik and Leaburn have 2 yellows incidentally

Slightly surprised Mbick was only scored only slightly worse than Edwards. Mbick was poor I agree, but Edwards in the first 15 was terrible, and could have got Okonkwo sent off.

Thanks all - definitely a couple of tiny errors on data sources, but will get that fixed over the season for the deeper updates.

Personally think Grant was harshly marked. Scorers normally given a bonus and it was rather an exceptional goal.

I did find it quite funny/sad that the referee average is higher than seven of our players, albeit a small sample size.

Great work fella! Just a suggestion, maybe show yellow cards with a yellow background, goals as green, assists as blue, or some such configuration rather than all in shades of red?

Good idea - I’ll definitely make some adjustments as we progress.

Great stuff @The Red Robin. I'm not sure how you're organising things with @Weegie Addick and @Jonniesta, whether you're all collaborating each week or taking it in turns, but thank you and well done to everyone involved.

Great work @The Red Robin , despite the minor corrections here and there. It's a lot of data to keep track of, especially when you're having to get it from multiple different sources. And on the subject of a lot of data, please people, don't quote the whole post, for the sake of all our scrolling fingers.

Please! And please just copy and paste my list at the start - makes my life a lot easier and ensures the stats are accurate. I can account for some typos and abbreviations etc but can’t capture all mistakes.

I’ve built a mini tool to scrape the player ratings thread but it’ll always miss some typos unless I spot them.

Can’t claim an iota of credit here - all Red Robin’s work. I’m firmly on the subs’ bench which suits me just fine.

That's a whole lotta information, loved the old format, love the new format.

Only potential change I'd make is separating out the cups from the league in the ratings average, but I'm not doing the leg work so feel free to ignore.

Considered that and will probably do it in future. I think I’ll aim for a ‘season so far’ update every 4-6 weeks or something.

Taking over from the legend Lancs lad is never going to be easy but Red Robin you are being bold and going for it with the assistance of Ali Wibble. 👏🏻
It's good that we are giving youngsters a chance to shine in the admin of CL !

Turning 40 soon so I’ll take being called a youngster 😅

And Lancs is a legend - being able to look through previous Statbanks was a massive help.

I gave Grant a bonus but apart from the goal he was crap. I think he is holding us back playing in his current position.

Agreed. Should be upfront or on the wing.

Great work, thanks for keeping this going. One thing I would find informative is on the season so far, 25/26 so far is also put as a comparison. Don't worry though, I can always get it from elsewhere.
