    One thought that strikes me on reading that is that as natural as the concept of a fans' director might seem to us after all these years it must be totally alien to the Nigels.

    When they were in administration their Supporters trust raised over a £1m ad wanting to buy a stake in the club. Jordan refused point blank to have anything to do with them or to take the money.
