    everyone email him and tell him to put a picture of himself in a Charlton shirt on his front page. It's not right seeing the Legend Powell in a w w w w w atford short.

    The man is a legend.

    My mate is a Southend fan and went travelling a few years ago. My dad had sponsored Jesper Blomqvists' shirt that year but couldn't attend the dinner so me and the wife went along. I was hoping to get something autographed by Chrissy P for my buddy but he couldn't attend the function.

    I gave a picture of Powell in his England shirt to Jesper and asked him to give it to Chris to get it autographed. I didn't expect much to come of it but a few days later I get the pic back with the note "Dear Joe, Have a great time in Australia - all the best, Chris"

    Not many players would bother with that but Mr Powell is a legend
