It shouldn't make any difference, the pitch is going to play better than most grass pitches, particularly many of the eastern european pitches england have played on in the last few qualifying campaigns. Will be a lot lot better than the sand pitch at stampford bridge and terry, lumpolard and cole had no trouble ripping us apart on that.
regardless of weather conditions,they should play all qualifying matches on the same surface,either all on plastic or none on plastic.It's scandolous they have got away with it.

If it was on grass and the ground got frozen we'd be bloody moaning that
"there is a plastic pitch - why can't we play on that?"
