ipod batterys

edited October 2007 in Not Sports Related
the missus is of to the states next week and I was tempted to get her to get me a new ipod as my one only works for a few minutes before the battery goes.

unfortunatly apple have to fit batterys themselves and charge a small fortune . Well I thought I'd try to change it myself as if it didn't work I'd still just be left with an ipod that doesn't work . Got to say it's a piece of piss and a new battery is only £13 so saved meself so some money there .

this place even has a little video to show you how

  • I changed my own battery on my ipod mini and it never worked again properly. Plays all the songs in order as the click wheel doesn't work. The nano was a handy replacement though !!
  • the same company will replace it for you for £36 which is a lot cheaper than apple

I knew that but tried to be clever and cocked-up. Ah well.
