    Hopefully their most 'famous fan' Mark Lawro Lawrenson can step back into management.His last game as a football boss, before getting sacked, was against us I think.....Oxford, 87-ish.

    thats 18 league managers gone after 1/3 of the season.

    or 1/5th of all chairmen cocking up and trying to make amends so soon.

    i think it may be a good idea to make the transfer window applicable to managers as well as players. at least they will get 6months in the job.

    good to see jones given time today - just look at what laws has done to wednesday since his "last chance" after their home defeat to scunthorpe, it's a shame preston didn't go the same way, to a manager that got carlisle out of the conference and League Two in successive seasons and then took over the poisoned chalice from a long term success story (a la Curbishley, Allardyce...) in Billy Davies to put them in the Play Off's.
