Not too much has gone wrong, but we've definately lost our way. We seem to have a bit of a pyshcological fear of playing at home at the moment. Whether its negativity from the crowd spreading to players, whether its with having to deal with the onus of taking the game to the opposition, or a combination of the two, i really don't know.

The Sheff U game was like the Plymouth one, they were tight and organised, worked us hard and we didn't have the guile to break them down. Saturday was similar, but seemed to include less confidence and heart. As soon as the third went in, everyone had given up, despite there being 20-odd mins left.

Where we started the season trying to play football, this has seriously gone missing in the last couple of games. We played very narrow on Saturday, didn't really get behind their full-backs once, and the easy option of chipping it up to big Chris is getting used more and more.

Home games are not very nice to endure at the moment. Team playing poorly, and fans very quick to turn.

Oh dear. Taking the mother in law to her first game Saturday. I have persuaded her to support Charlton despite the father inlaw being a big Ipswich fan. Dont want to bring her to a place full of negativity and crap.

Both games we had the chances to turn a first half feficit around and played pretty well for long periods. Trouble is we are not taking these chances and as the games wears on we panic into long ball football and then end up conceding the killer blow late on.

teams appear to have us well watched and know how to snuff out our game plan... so we need to find a plan B and plan C

The bizarre scorelines we are seeing especially after 4 wins with none conceded seems to be a case of apathy, thinking we can walk this division. On all the recent defeats we appeared to be constantly 'outnumbered' this a blatantly a legacy of workrate,I do not believe we are battling these sides,we have one of the best squads in the division but as Roy Keane said in his book 'however much class you have you have to win the battle before the class can shine through'
We went through the same senario after the 3 defeats against QPR' Plymouth and Wolves. It was as if Pards had given the players a kick up the arse which worked very well until we started to 'large it' again.
Hey ho looks like a rollercoaster of a season !

And maybe we should also pay a bit more attention to the oppo's strength and weaknesses in return - it sometimes seems very easy for them to take us by surprise.
