Thought he looked good on Saturday very industrious and worked the channels ala Gary Nelson, if we could have made more of his efforts then maybe we would be not so down.

    i like his attitude he gives his all and can see him improving the more he plays but unfortunately we need results right here right now

    both centre halves were cart horses yet we still played the long ball. Varney would have skinned them everytime.

    Varney was one of few positives from the day but agree we didn't play to his strengths.

    Felt very negative and down on the way home. Yeah, we are still 4th and we know we can play a lot better but that's four defeats out of five at home.

    The only straw I can cling to right now is that no one is pulling away from us and the lower crowds mean it's easy to get a seat and to get served in the Liberal club.
