    Really not sure what Samedo has done wrong to be honest, and can't see Varney being too happy.

    Semedo plays the holding role very well and his passes well, hope Pardew isnt becoming curbs like by picking his favorites even if it hurts the team. Holland hasn't been his best for a couple of years now but we are all great managers sitting here.

    4-5-1 has worked well away so far - think I'd go with that shape, though with a minor personnel change.

    I can't help thinking that Holland was always no 1 choice ahead of Semedo, but got injured. Semedo has been pretty consistant after the first few games so it's a tough call by Pards to leave him out.

    I'd also prefer to see Varney on the wing rather than Ambrose. Glad its 4-5-1 though.
