    Canal first attempted by the French, but then taken over by the Yanks. Labour came from all over, but workers were segregated by race and paid accordingly. Many Jamaican, Bajan and Trinidadian workers provided the labour that finally provided a working canal system, and many died in doing so.

    The very earliest roots of the Rastafari movement go back to migrant workers in Colon, Panama. That's a FaCt, locked on and bolted.
