Could anyone provide the best route (via public transport) from Victoria station to the alexandra palace. Also does anyone know any pubs up that way which are showing the match on sat. Cheers V.

    it is essentially a nightmare to get to and from (the south) but there are pubs by the tube station (wood green) that i'm sure will show the game, and then you get a bus up the hill to the palace. when the gig finishes, walk away from the direction you're travelling, down the hill (come out of the palace and turn right - rather than the bus stop right outside) cos you'll never get on one of the buses outside and get away quickly so go to the bus stop before.
