High - West Ham at home, the whole day being the game of the day, mostly everyone standing in the North Upper & backing the team from first minute to last & smashing them to bits on the pitch then having a huge celebratory p*ss up & curry after.
Low - Everton away in the last minute we never recovered as a team from having that point snatched away from us & we did not win a game for the rest of the season.

    Personal

High - DJ'ing In Ibiza still ranks as one of my all time highs.

Low Getting relegated was pants, but not that bad!

    Personal

Having the courage to leave my old job without having out lined up cos it was soooooo bad! Now i am very extemely happy in my new job.

Low, well there hasn't really been one apart from lewis not winning the F1n and england possibly getting some muppett italian who dont even speak the lingo! that'd pizz me orf!
  • Football

High - The Fans at Liverpool. We were down but people still got behind the team and had a laugh. Knew that for all the financial aggro to come if the fans were still with the team then we had a chance

Low - losing to Wycombe. Not only terrible, terrible performance and missing out on the first major cup semi-final in my life time but knowing that that was the end of Les Reed. Lovely, lovely guy but just not the man for the job.

    Personal

High - nothing outstanding but had a great holiday on Lake Garda in the summer.

Low - Firm I did a lot of work for, and whose DIrectors were personal friends, going under at a few days notice meaning big gaps in work diary and some fractured friendships

  • CAFC

High: Got to be a toss up between Big Chris' goal against Southampton or just the atmosphere at the shit hole that is Palarse, but I think St Mary's gets it!

Low: Got to be the Sheff Utd game!

    Personal

High: Getting an new job with a big payrise which meant I was finally able to move out!

Low: I don't think any of my lows compare to some of the things people have written on here so I won't even bother! RIP all that we've lost in '07
  • Wycombe was 2006, guys - otherwise that would have been my Charlton low too!
  • Low/High Trading my old girlfreind for a newer model;)
  • Charlton High - Palace at Selhurst
Charlton Low - Everton away, worst journey home from a football match EVER

Personal High - Birth of my littlun and finding out junior 2 is on the way
Personal Low - Nothing too bad, although I do have my pay review tomorrow.
  • Charlton High - Probably West Ham at home, especially the first half
Charlton Low - Hard to pinpoint a single incident, I think the mcfadden equaliser was the single biggest moment

Personal High - Got a new job, better money, better conditions, more holiday and actually appreciated
Personal Low - Terrible year (to follow a bad 2006 when my nan died the week before xmas), my nephew died aged 2 days 9 hours and my dad was diagnosed with myeloma (cancer of the blood) yesterday
  • Very sorry to hear that, randy_andy. Awful. Hope your Dad and the family can keep strong.
  • Sorry to read these lows chaps and chapettes and wish you all a better 2008.

Puts my lasts nights tantrum over British Gas into perspective really..........
  • Charlton highs: Beating West Ham and Palace.

Charlton low: The FA Cup defeat at Nottingham Forest - a reminder of just how deep we were in the s**t.

Personal highs and lows have been intertwined this year - like there's been huge work uncertainty which could lead to new, bright things in the new year. We'll see.
  • Lots of people seem to have lost loved ones this year. Young and old, naturally and not.

    RIP to all of them
  • [cite]Posted By: Weegie Addick[/cite]Very sorry to hear that, randy_andy. Awful. Hope your Dad and the family can keep strong.

Cheers Weegie, initial prognosis is fairly good as he's relatively young (60) and fit, as always there's going to about a million tests carried out over the next few months and then we'll know more
