Medders has been saying about a barbecue pub near the Hawthorns that does all the Curry Stuff you know Chicken Tikka in a Basket with a pint etc...what's it called & how close to the ground is it as we are thinking of going there pre-match Saturday.

Hi -- Just asked my West Brom supporting mate and here is his reply
Its the pub we use & I was gonna take you all there if you came up.
Its called The Vine it's no more than 10 minutes walk up the tramline path, its voted by most clubs as the best matchday pub in the country. it does get really packed so the idea is to get in early, but with the early KO, it will be OK to go in after the game as they have Sky on in there.
If they didn't want to get lost walking up the tramline, if they go onto the main Birmingham road & go towards the motorway at the island go straight on towards west brom town centre, then take the first left (Roebuck street???? I think) at the bottom of the road its on the corner.
 Hope this helps0
