I'd always get a Philishave. Whatever you do get a shaver with three heads.
Also try to get one whose heads turn and adapt to the contours of your face - it will make for a much more comfortable shave.
Another thing is to get one whose blades are 'self sharpening' or some such gobbledigook - that way you don't have to change the blades.
Generally, don't buy cheap. If you spend over 100 quid it will last you for 7 years but if you pay just 30-50 quid it may only last 1-2 years and in the meantime you'll have a red rash.
I've just bought a Wilkinson Sword Diamond Series thingee on a 50% off in Boots, cost me £70 (Well had a £20 Voucher so was only £50) but its really good no rash, does the job nice. There's a few on offer in Boots at the minute though so i'd advise heading there.
