One hit wonders

edited December 2007 in Not Sports Related
Mental As Anything, anyone remember these? I played the song from Crocodile Dundee last night they did 'Live it up'.

I have never seen a dance floor fill with so many 30-40 year olds so quickly! Don't think they did anything else other than this did they?

And what were the best one hit wonders. And I mean a big hit not an obscure record from the 30's Henry ;-)

I vote this as the best one hit wonder if so.

Spot on Bank Note. Horses is still in my all time top 5 albums and her version of My Generation is one the best covers ever.

Carter, didn't have charts until the 50s so no one hit wonders in the 30s. : - )

  • Hawkwind! I used to love that band when I was younger - saw them a couple of times when Lemmy still played with them.

Bought a box-set CD of their stuff a couple of years ago and now find that I can't get into their music at all!
