I was listening to the radio this morning & they were reporting on the new Ipswich investment (now completed) & the new QPR investment (steel magnate about to put millions into the club). Both these teams should have lots of cash to splash in the January transfer window. How do you think these, and other prospective takeovers, are going to affect our chances of promotion?

Personally, I am getting a little worried as these other teams start to get their finances in order & make this division even more competitive than it is now. The second half of the season promises to be very, very interesting.

    Not forgetting, of course, that Coventry were ALSO taken over earlier this week & will be looking to spend big in January. LOL. Applying the laws of supply & demand means there are going to be a lot of average players sold for very high prices during the transfer window. Maybe we can cash in on Cory Gibbs now??
