I nicked this from Radio 4. Nearly crashed the car when I heard it:

DEFINITE – street slang for hard of hearing.

STOCKADE – Fizzy OXO
OFFSET – Statutory body that regulates the homes of Badgers
ONOMATAPEA – First sign of the start of bladder problems
LABURNUM – A French Barbeque
VENUZEULA – A Gondola with a harpoon
UNDETERRED – A skid mark
GOATHERD – An exclamation used when flushing
SCAR TISSUE – A problem when connecting a DVD player to a television."
