OWEN Coyle's Burnley have tabled a £750,000 bid for Dundee United captain Barry Robson, says the Scottish Daily Express.

The 29-year-old, who is valued at £2 million by the Tannadice club, is also being tracked by Ipswich and Charlton Athletic although Celtic's interest in the player has cooled.

He's 29 already - so needs to be the finished article.

    Anyone seen him play?

Saw a cracking long range goal that he scored last week.

I do hope that Burnley aren't unsettling him by offering higher wages and a chance to play in a bigger league : - )

    Can he cross a ball?
    None of our wingers can.

Best crosser of the ball in our division is Chris Brunt at West Brom.
Pinpoint crosses, beautifly flighted. Absolute doddle to score from.

His crosses directly resulted in 3 West Brom goals scored against us alone.

If this Barry Robson can cross a ball like a Brunt - then sign him up!
(He's a leader, too - skipper for Dundee Utd in SPL)

    £2m?

    No chance.

"RANGERS have rejected a Fulham bid for striker Daniel Cousin, according to the Daily Record.
The Premiership strugglers are reported to have tabled a £2 million bid for the player.
Cousin's agent Willie McKay said: McKay "Daniel is under contract to Rangers and he's happy to be there.
"But his contract does contain a clause which means if a club was to bid £3 million he would be free to speak to them."

Basically meaning his player is happy to be at Rangers but if you offer 3m he'll be on his way

If we do sign him Burnley fans will be doubly peed off as they hoped the Gray money would help sign him. He's a decent player with an eye for goal but i cant see us spending over £1 mill unless players leave.

The clue is in the name 'Willie McKay'

He'll try and use us again like he did for Brown and Thomson.
