I've still got the Sto-ak City radio on -they've got a kind of 606 phone in.

They've just lost 1-0 after good run - and now they're talking about their season's going to crumble, need a striker so get McLeod on loan from Charlton. And Pulis OUT, we'll never get promotion with Pulis. LOL!

I thought we had a couple of miseries but God Almighty.. ..they make our doom merchants seem ecstatic!

Stoke tried to get physical but we out-footballed them.

    McCarthy played very well.
Weaver made a couple of crucial saves.
Matt Holland ran his socks off - put in some v. timely tackles too.
    Gray has a nice touch.
Moo2 and Crabman got forward loads
ZZ was really prominent at the start but disappeared a little as the second half wore on.

    I'm quietly confident!

Sam's final ball was pretty hit & miss.
Ambrose made some good runs, but didn't deliver.
Boogie was looking more assured (he's definitely the new El Karkouri, but slightly more reliable - only slightly)

We were trying to pass the ball into the goal again rather than shooting on sight. Stoke were crowding their area so we kept hitting them instead of the goal.

Thanks for that F-er. I like the bit where you say we outfootballed them.
I was afraid Sir Pards might try & copy their game.

Glad he opted for ability rather than stifling them

There were a few punted balls, but mainly we kept it on the deck.

So Gray with Big Chris - or Gray with Varns?

Couldnt make the game tonight due to work commitments, but sounds like Paddy Mcarthy had a quiet but effective game.I doubted him at first but he has come good recently.Well done boys.

Dominated the game for 95% of it, 1-0 was kind to Stoke, should have been more. We won, fin.

No Dicko nor Dizzy Izzy on the bench tonight. Just Varns & a recalled Thomas.

Will 'SuperMac' Leod move on loan somewhere before the window shuts, d'you reckon?
  • think one of them probably will, more likely to be Izzy

Cheers, Rothko. Pity we didn't make chances count earlier but 3 points puts us right on track.

All the results went kindly for us tonight.4 points behind automatic promotion now.

Cardiff are on a great run.

BTW, big up for Andy Gray, gave us a lot in terms of linking the play up, making intelligent runs, worked the line and was unlucky a couple of times. potentially a top signing

I wasn't going to go then a mad rush of blood to the head and I hared off down there and arrived just in time for the second half! Bloody glad I did. Well done lads, an excellent win against a team who offered little.
