what a day.
Was up at the PCO friday for latest knowledge exam - passed that so thought tonights the night to smash the nigel scum.
Got to the ground and decided I'd have a bet - wife texts me to remind me I am on the knowledge and not to get riled by any stripey people
Filled out the form £5 on Luke Varney to score the last goal went to the window changed my mind screwed up the paper got another one put Andy Gray decided to get a beer and think about it. Anyway 7.42 on the watch changed my mind again and went back to my original choice and had my fiver on Varney at 7/1. The rest is not history and me 35 quid better off.
Anyway celebrating the 2nd goal geezer standing next to me twatted me right in the corner of my eye with his elbow "fuck that hurt" but it's Palace and it's 2-0 so forgot about it quickly.
Got home about 11.45 straight to bed. Wake up next morning come down to feed the baby wife comes down takes one look at me and says "i thought i said to stay out of trouble blah blah blah" - i'm like what you talking about I haven't done anything - "well why you got a f******* great big black eye then you lying bastard"
i have a blinder of a black eye and I never threw a punch in anger - and blimey did that take some explaining - not sure she still believes me though.
Oh and Varney is a LEGEND IN MY EYES. Cheers Luke the force is with you.
